Regrettably, outdated or overly complex regulations, often due to lawmakers’ well intentioned efforts, have resulted in millions of jobs being shipped overseas or across state lines to more business-friendly locations. By aligning policy with today’s economic realities, we can anchor jobs in our communities and expand pathways for all Americans to prosper.

But too often, overly rigid policymaking, however well-intentioned, has pushed jobs and investment elsewhere; hurting the very workers these policies were meant to protect.
